Research on the Preparation and Application of Synthetic Leather from Coffee Grounds for Sustainable Development

As the market demand for environmentally friendly synthetic leather products has increased, water-based manufacturing technology and product performance have made great progress. Along with explosive growth of coffee grounds generated by urban consumers in their daily lives, research on sustainable reuse gradually become a trend field. This study discusses method preparing that reuses is assessed standardized physical tests friction color fastness, Martindale abrasion resistance, breathability moisture permeability, softness, peel strength. The results indicated coffee-ground fully meets aqueous apparel luggage, even some indicators exceeding existing leather, which an innovative can be applied to industry future. Its development application textile field will provide ideas transformation environmental problems into new opportunities.
